Liverpool 1 - 0 QPR (19.05.2013) (Premier League)

Last game of the season. Best word to describe the 2012/2013 season? Inconsistent. Both on and off the pitch inconsistent was the key word.

Pepe, you big clown, biggest joker on the team.

MOTM: Stevie G followed closely by Stewart Downing (did this performance just raise his transfer fee?).

Congrats Jose!

Liverpool’s PoTM (November 2012): Jose Enrique

Upon receiving his award: I feel good - it is the first time I have won the award at the club and it is a pleasure. I hope I can continue my form. It was okay [playing in midfield]. I feel comfortable there, although I prefer to play as a left-back as it is my position. But if I have to play there again, it is not a problem. I have always been an attacking full-back, so the new position is just more attacking than defending, so I feel good there. I want to say thank you very much to the supporters who voted for me. I hope I can continue to play like this and try to help the team as much as I can.”

Liverpool 1 - 0 Southampton (Premier League) (01.12.2012)

An Anfield win, a clean sheet and Lucas back in the team? I’ll take that all day.

We had so many chances to win the game in the first half but we either couldn’t finish, or we hit the bar (Jonjo Shelvey).

Eventually our good work paid off as Luis Suarez’ freekick hit the bar before rebounding to Glen Johnson. Johnson lobbed the ball back in and Daniel Agger powered it home for our only goal of the game.

It was no more than we had deserved.

We weren’t as sharp in the second half but Southampton really threatened so our lackluster performance wasn’t punished. All in all, another 3 points and no injuries so I’ll take it.

MOTM: Jose Enrique who was also unlucky not to grab a goal for himself. The only downside to the game was Suarez picking up his 5th yellow card (for a silly handball) meaning he’ll miss the game against West Ham next week.

Swansea 0 - 0 Liverpool (Premier League) (25.11.2012)

I was expecting us to lose so I’m happy with draw and a little disappointed because with a little luck we would’ve won the game.

MOTM: Pepe, easily. Also are there still people out there who think Stewart Downing should stay on as a Liverpool player?
